I am particularly grateful for the blog post by Mark J. for week 10. I kept looking to see where he had hidden the surveillance cameras in my home because it was obvious from what he said that he had been watching me.
Try as I might to relax and just do it, I was in a serious wrestling match with my past habits. My Instinct was to try harder, use more force, become more disciplined and rigid with myself… It just got worse. I wanted to fill my face with chocolate, coke and french fries and binge watch every Jason Bourne movie, several times…
Law of Relaxation:
Mental effort defeats itself…
Relaxation is the only access to the Infinite Intelligence.
Ok…calm yourself…breathe…sit… Brain racing… you can’t do this, not good enough…scattered rapid fire reproaches….What’s wrong with me… FOCUS… BREATHE… stop YELLING….Slow…it…down…let it go…..relax….breathe through your nose…slower…better… release…….
I see this meme online:
IF I QUIT NOW, I WILL SOON BE BACK TO WHERE I STARTED… AND WHEN I STARTED, I DESPERATELY WANTED TO BE WHERE I AM.
I will not Quit. I will persist...thank you OG…
Talk to my Mastermind…I ask questions…this time I listen.
I read again…
When things go wrong, as they sometimes will, and the road you’re trudging seems all uphill; and the funds are low and the debts are high, and you want to smile, but you have to sigh; and care is pressing you down a bit, Rest if you must, but don’t you quit…..
Success is failure turned inside out, The silver tint of the clouds of doubt; And, you never can tell how close you are. It may be near when it seems so far; So stick to the fight when you’re hardest hit. It’s when things seem worst that you must not quit.
Not sure who wrote this but, Thank You.
